Bratislava is the capital city of Slovakia. It’s also the country’s biggest city with around 500,000 people living here. It is not only an administrative, cultural and economic centre of Slovakia, but also one of the most beautiful cities of the small, but wonderful country. An interesting and unique fact about Bratislava is also its closeness to Austria, Hungary and Czech Republic. Both Austria and Hungary can be visited from Bratislava within minutes.

     

Between the most beautiful sights of Bratislava definitely belong: Bratislava castle, Michael’s Gate, St. Martin’s Cathedral, St. Elizabeth’s church (Blue church), Primate’s Palace, Town Hall, Slavin, Old Market Hall and my favorite – many of the oldtown streets. Discover more here.
